Mark Cernese, lead guitarist and founder of The Audio Files, is a highly accomplished blues-based, rock guitarist, musician, and songwriter from Allentown, Pennsylvania. Playing guitar at the age of 12, his passion for music began at a very young age- and through this hard work and dedication, Cernese became a highly sought after musician, playing with numerous bands throughout the mid and late 1990s. Mark took an extended hiatus to focus on the joys of being a father where his artistry and musicianship grew and matured. After 20 years, he has returned to stages throughout the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania area- playing shows and festivals of over 1,500 capacity. Mark's on stage charisma and electric personality coupled with his talented musical skills have quickly made him a go-to favorite for artists around the country.
His style of playing marries a wide range of influences (including but not limited to, Jeff Beck, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana, and Jimi Hendrix) but one listen to Mark's playing, you will soon realize that he has a style all his own. Through his intense love and music and passion of performing, Mark's mission is to spread joy, and happiness all to those that he touches with his music.
