Hailing from Quakertown, Emily Owens is the dynamic vocalist and keyboardist of the band. Emily’s passion for music was ignited early on, with her first public performance at her 4th-grade talent show. A lifelong lover of singing and songwriting, she brings a youthful energy and relatable presence to the band.
Emily describes her role as not only adding harmonies and versatility to the band’s sound but also connecting with fans, particularly young women who resonate with her performances of powerful, female-led songs. Her influences include Gwen Stefani, Alanis Morissette, and The Cranberries.
A mix of natural talent and formal training, Emily has honed her skills through voice and piano lessons, expanding her range as a performer. Before joining the band, Emily spent three years with her previous project, Teddy, which was nominated for a Lehigh Valley Music Award for Outstanding Youth/Teenage Performer in 2018. Now, her focus is simple: to have fun and keep the music alive. A little insight into the mind of Emily, she keeps it real: “If I weren’t a musician, I’d probably be a teacher. But honestly, I’m just here to enjoy the ride.
